Neil and Amy Leibman Endowed Presidential Scholarship

Mar 16, 2012 | EPS/EPF

The Neil and Amy Leibman Endowed Presidential Scholarship was established by the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System on March 16, 2012, to benefit The University of Texas McCombs School of Business. Gift funds were provided by Mr. Neil M. Leibman and Mrs. Amy P. Leibman.

Neil and Amy Leibman are not Texas alumni but their daughter Madison is a freshman at the University.  The couple are actively involved in numerous charitable organizations including their children’s schools and the Texas Children’s Hospital.

Neil attended Emory University, which is not known for its sports program. The first college football game he ever attended was the UT – OU game and he says it spoiled him for life.

Neil holds JD and MBA degrees and believes a solid business education is a critical cornerstone to economic success. Madison is very happy with her UT experience and her experience prompted her parents to endow a scholarship in the McCombs School of Business.

Update September 2019: Madison Leibman graduated in 2015 and her sister Adriane Leibman graduated in 2017.
