The Robin Bruce Moran Memorial Centennial Endowed Presidential Scholarship for Undergraduate Students in Chemical Engineering was established by the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System on August 13, 1982, for the benefit of the Cockrell School of Engineering.

Gift funds were provided by Mr. Frank W. Moran, Jr., P.E. of Kingwood, Texas, a 1950 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin Cockrell School of Engineering and Mrs. Mary J. Moran of Kingwood, Texas, a 1940 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin College of Education. The endowment honors Mr. Robin Bruce Moran of Kingwood, Texas.
