Jun 1, 2010 | EPS/EPF

The Mark and Pamela Callahan Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Actuarial Studies was established by the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System on June 14, 2010, to benefit The University of Texas College of Natural Sciences. Gift funds were provided by Mr. Mark and Mrs. Pamela Callahan.

Mark and Pamela Callahan

Mark and Pamela each earned a BBA in accounting in 1992 from the McCombs School of Business. The two decided to donate a scholarship because scholarships provided Mark with the opportunity to achieve a world-class education with limited means. His time at the University exposed him to numerous life experiences including joining a fraternity, playing rugby, joining Texas Cowboys, and participating in the actuarial student organization. Mark said, “Scholarships provided me with the opportunity to attend and enjoy collegiate life.  We hope that this endowment provides a similar opportunity to future UT graduates.” The Callahans know that the Mark and Pamela Callahan Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Actuarial Studies will provide individuals with the foundation to reach their potential and build a successful future.
