Mary and Edward Parish find happiness and fulfillment by giving to others. When their third son, Troy R. Parish, passed away in 1974, they donated to the University of Texas in order to establish the Troy Randall Parish Scholarship Fund in his memory. The scholarship honors Troy’s life by providing the means for other young people to achieve their goals and follow their dreams.

Troy began his freshman year at the University of Texas in 1973. His brother, Stephen R. Parish, graduated from UT that same year. Stephen went on to attend Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
